Southern Gala and East Anglian Gala A reminder that the dates for these two galas were switched earlier in the year. The Southern Gala will take place at Salisbury Plain on either the 26th or 27th July. The East Anglian Gala will take place at Sculthorpe on either the 9th or 10th of August. The actual date will be published on the Wednesday prior to the event.

- 7.9.2025, Sunday, 1500-1700, ONLY TWO HOURS
- 5.10.2025, Sunday, 1500-1700, ONLY TWO HOURS
- 2.11.2025, Sunday, 1500-1800, 3 hours
- 7.12.2025, Sunday, 1500-1800, 3 hours
- 4.1.2026, Sunday, 1500-1700, ONLY 2 HOURS....etc = first Sunday of each month
- More dates pending - monthly to May. Fees £15/2hr £20/3hr session
My interest is in free flight scale and fun/duration models. I always bring some models for people to fly. I'm not concerned if they require some repairs afterwards. Lightly wing-loaded radio models can be flown, with consideration of what FF planes are flying. It helps everyone if the centre of the hall is kept clear for flying as much as possible.

The centre is on a minor road, northeast of Ffriddoedd Road, that ascends slightly, and then there is a left turn through a barrier to a straight road headed southwest, along which you can park. There is usually ample parking close to the centre. There is a coffee/drinks machine of middling quality. The nearest shop and cafe is in Morrisons at the junction with Holyhead Road.
